What Riga offers

About a third of the country lives in Riga, and the entire production base sits here. Hourly-rate photo studios in the centre, in Čiekurkalns and around Spīķeri; photographers with commercial and fashion backgrounds for whom platform content is an ordinary booking; makeup artists, stylists, wardrobe rental. Locations are a genuine advantage — Riga's art nouveau district, the old town, the port, disused industrial sites. Content shot in Riga looks better than the platform average, and that converts directly into subscription rates.

Second, money and paperwork. Riga is the country's financial centre: euro accounts, European payment services, and accountants who actually understand income from a foreign online platform. Administratively, starting from Riga is the fastest of all our markets.

Third, language and scene. The city is effectively bilingual — roughly half the population speaks Russian, while almost everyone under thirty speaks English.
